There was huge excitement in the hall on Wednesday for our recently crowned all Ireland winners. Tomás and Emma entered the hall to the tune “We are the Champions”.There was a rapturous applause as the entire School community celebrated the achievements of our two fifth class pupils.
The children across the school got a chance to ask Tomás and Emma some questions. They provided a great insight into their project.
Mrs Buckley presented Tomás and Emma with a cake. They were delighted to share the cake with their class afterwards. It’s not a party unless there is cake after all.
We are so proud of Tomas and Emma. To be placed first in a competition that had over 6000 children participating is a monumental achievement.
