Senior Infants enjoyed putting their maths eyes to work by going on a maths trail around the school. They could be heard singing “we’re going on a maths hunt, we’re going to find some numbers” as they put all their maths knowledge to good practice. They found patterns, numbers and lots of shapes.
Senior Infants also enjoyed taking part in a maths webinar quiz. They met Mattie the maths puppet and designed a friend for him. They counted on their fingers and made numbers in different ways.
We sang lots of counting songs and enjoyed maths related games.
