The Nativity
Congratulations to all the pupils of Timahoe National School on their fantastic nativity production. It was a truly memorable performance that showcased the talent, confidence and teamwork of students across the school.
Our Fifth and Sixth Class pupils led the way with their excellent acting roles, bringing the nativity story to life with great professionalism and enthusiasm.
Each class contributed beautifully to the performance:
-
Junior Infants sang “Come Lord Jesus” and “ Up on the housetops?”
-
Senior Infants delighted the audience with their songs “Mary will you take this baby boy?” And Happiest Christmas Tree”
-
First Class performed “Caesar Augustus” and “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree”
-
Second Class sang “Must Be Santa” and “My Winter Song”
-
Third Class performed “King Herod” and “Under the Tree”
-
Fourth Class sang “Snowman” by Sia and “Born in the Hay”
A sincere thank you and well done to Miss Moore and Miss Garvey, who worked tirelessly as Stage Directors, and to Mr Glennon for expertly managing the sound throughout the performance. We also extend our thanks to Anne Kelly and Miss Buckley for organising and managing the ticketing.
The SNA’s Antoinette, Sinéad, Annette, Anne and Anne worked tirelessly on the props and decorated the hall. I think you will agree it looked outstanding.
Well done to everyone involved. It was a wonderful celebration of Christmas and a performance that made the entire school community proud.
