Fourth class had an amazing day today on our trip to Abbeyleix bog walk.
Our tour guide Fiona dunne a specialist from Heritage in schools taught us all about the different plants, animals and habitats around the bog.
We were lucky enough to see and hear some of these plants and animals.
We also did a dipping pond activity where we gathered some water from the pond and investigated some of the insects with a magnifying glass.
Fourth class were very interested and had lots of great questions for Fiona.
